MYA is a design-focused company: we want to develop creative talent. We needed a PA, and recruited Emily for her strengths in administration: but we also noted her degree in Visual Communication from Brighton University, and now we’re expecting her to take her design skills to a whole new level.
Emily joined MYA after working in a healthcare practice, where as well as handling day-to-day administration, she was responsible for social media, and the design and production of materials for patient information and healthcare initiatives. Before that, she ran the front desk of a hotel, making the most of her personal skills and ability to think on her feet; and she has plenty of retail experience, dealing with customers, managing stock and balancing the books.
• Design to BA level, with high-level use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop etc)
• Organisational Skills: scheduling, document handling, data entry, billing, filing, inventory, Microsoft Office
• Face-to-face customer service
• Social Media
In her free time Emily picks up languages – Italian at the moment – and also a camera. But she’s more than an amateur photographer: as part of her Visual Communications degree she gained an HND in Photography. So we’re looking forward to an even higher standard of image work from MYA!
