Akshay Kuniyil

Revit Designer / Architectural Designer

Akshay is a Revit Designer and Architectural Designer with strong experience in BIM, technical drafting, 3D modelling and foodservice design coordination. He brings a precise, practical approach to design information, helping turn complex project requirements into clear drawings, coordinated models and buildable design outputs.

Prior to joining MYA, Akshay worked as a Revit Technician at Tricon Foodservice Consultants, producing general arrangement drawings, MEP coordination drawings, elevations and Revit models for high-spec foodservice and hospitality projects. His experience includes Autodesk Construction Cloud, clash detection workflows, site coordination and collaboration with consultants, contractors and project managers.

Akshay’s wider background includes architectural and interior design work across healthcare, office, retail and restaurant environments, including GP practices, commercial fit-outs and restaurant refurbishments.

At MYA, he supports the design team with Revit modelling, spatial planning, technical drafting and coordinated design information, combining architectural training with a strong engineering foundation and a clear understanding of technical delivery.

Outside work, Akshay loves travelling and photography. His interest in taking pictures reflects the same eye for structure, composition and detail that informs his design work, whether he is exploring a new city, studying buildings, or capturing the small visual details most people walk past.
