BIM and Revit Manager
Qualifications: Two years toward BSc Hons Civil Engineering, Anglia Ruskin University. Advanced user of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, COBie, DiRoots, Navisworks, SketchUp, Microsoft 365 and Adobe Photoshop.
Joe leads BIM delivery with calm precision. He sets up federated models, governs the CDE and keeps information clean from concept to handover. With civil engineering training and deep software fluency, he translates complex briefs into coordinated models that stand up to scrutiny. He is the person who turns a pile of drawings, mark-ups and stakeholder comments into a single, reliable source of truth that the whole team can use with confidence.
On live programmes Joe authors or refines BEPs, chairs BIM kick-offs and builds delivery plans that match scope and stage. He runs disciplined clash detection and resolution sessions with architects, MEP and structural teams, and he makes sure COBie data, naming conventions and sheet sets are correct before anything leaves the door. Clients value his steady communication style, tidy issue tracking and habit of preventing late change through robust QA and information control.
Joe’s impact shows up in shorter coordination cycles, fewer RFIs and drawings that are clear to price and clear to build. He is equally at home supporting early feasibility models or managing detailed production information, and he trains team members so standards are adopted rather than ignored. Outside work Joe restores vintage bikes, experiments with 3D printing and volunteers at a local STEM club. He is a keen runner and spends weekends exploring modernist buildings with a camera in hand.
