Tristan supports zone and venue packages with neat drawings, tidy information and a steady temperament under pressure. He brings hands-on site experience to his architectural training, including piling and residential construction, which gives him a practical grasp of sequencing, safety and buildability. That mix helps him spot where a layout will work on paper but struggle on site, and to adjust details before they become delays.
At MYA he assists surveys, prepares first-pass plans, elevations and sections, manages drawing registers and keeps the CDE disciplined and current. He is confident in Revit and AutoCAD, and can produce clear 3D visualisations that explain layout, daylight and material choices to non-specialists. Tristan listens carefully, asks the right questions and turns early briefs into information senior designers can move at pace.
His focus is on socially responsive, sustainable design that serves real users. He pays close attention to accessibility, flow and acoustic comfort, and he is building strong capability across the full design cycle from concept to tender. Teams value his reliability, methodical approach and the way he keeps information tidy so decisions arrive on time. Outside work Tristan sketches street architecture, cycles the South Downs and volunteers on community garden projects. He is learning basic joinery and spends time exploring contemporary galleries to sharpen his eye.
