MYA Consulting Reinforces Its Educational Team

Bev Lusty appointed as Consultant Director, Education

The relationship between MYA Consulting and the independent schools sector goes back nearly 30 years, and during that time they’ve offered transformative help with catering and housekeeping to an amazing 500 schools.

Now they’re strengthening their team with the appointment of Bev Lusty as a new Consultant Director. Bev has a decade of experience in the sector, and a range of talents: from raising standards across the board, to raising income though special events and out-of-term opportunities.

Carla McKenzie MD comments:

“It’s a tough time for education, and we’re all dealing with the ‘new normal’. But change also means opportunity, and there’s never been a better time to offer robust and practical advice, to keep catering departments running smoothly while ensuring pupil wellbeing.

“I’m delighted to welcome Bev aboard. She knows schools inside out, she’s experienced, she’s flexible and she knows just how to help a school to achieve its full potential. We’re not cutting back, we’re looking for growth! Bev will drive that expansion by working with schools who are looking to manage change, to manage costs, and to do things better.”

  • We recently worked with the team at MYA on a bid for a tender for multiple catering sites. Their proactive, innovative and dynamic approach to the task was a breath of fresh air, and we were able to work systematically through a complex set of designs with an abundance of creativity and design options to consider. Throughout the whole process, the team at MYA were fully engaged and, above all, great fun to work with. I will definitely be working with the team again on future projects and would highly recommend them as design consultants.

  • If all companies who serve the independent school sector had your breadth of vision and openness of mind, I have little doubt that the sector would be a richer and more exciting place to be.
