This week I was humbled to receive two honours at the Sussex Vistage Awards: Member of the Year and The Chair’s Award. Being voted for by fellow Vistage members makes it especially meaningful and it belongs to the MYA team as much as to me.
Two years with Vistage — a peer group of twelve non-competing CEOs — has given me the discipline to step back and work on the business, not just in it. Leadership can be lonely; the ability to test challenges, share hard lessons, and learn from world-class speakers has been invaluable during a period of rapid growth.
Crucially, learning only counts when you bring it home. The MYA team has embraced the ideas, implemented them, and made continuous improvement part of our culture. The impact shows up where it matters: clearer decisions, sharper collaboration, and better commercial outcomes for our clients.
Thank you to my peers at Vistage for the recognition, and to the whole MYA team for turning insight into action. These awards reflect our shared commitment to a learning culture and to delivering smarter, more creative results for every project.
