MYA Consulting Still Growing

New talent added to the design team: Olivia Imeson joins MYA this week

Olivia Imeson joins from Camberwell College of Art with a first-class degree, and now she’s ready to put her design talents to work on behalf of MYA’s clients.

Her degree is in Illustration, but in her graduation year she conducted a design project for a major London retail brand, which sparked her interest in becoming a designer in the commercial world. She says:

“I love to draw, but I also love applying design skills to commercial challenges, planning complete projects as part of a team, using art and style to reach out to customers. Also, long before I’d heard of MYA, I had plenty of experience in the hospitality industry, so it was just a great fit for me and for them.”

Olivia’s experience includes a design and illustration project for a major London-based lingerie brand, developing special events at London Zoo, and hosting at Jamie’s Italian. Her latest art installation – before joining MYA – is the Cotswold Venus Project, which involves placing ‘Venus figurines’ along the Cotswold Way, helping people to re-connect with both nature and the ancient world.

Welcome Olivia!

  • The team, led by Carla McKenzie, were meticulous in every detail. They modelled the cleaning requirements to deliver the optimum solution for the facilities across EMEA, and really took time to understand the culture of our business. I have no hesitation in recommending MYA and its team – they are dedicated and innovative, and always go the extra mile.

  • They are brave enough to challenge others in pursuit of the ultimate solution, whether it be behind the scenes with kitchen flow and catering management, or front-of-house service and design.

  • If all companies who serve the independent school sector had your breadth of vision and openness of mind, I have little doubt that the sector would be a richer and more exciting place to be.

  • During the negotiation process, Carla’s knowledge and expertise enabled our company to achieve a very strong commercial outcome, and some significant savings were yielded from the exercise.
