Introducing Andrew Norfolk as Senior Design Consultant at MYA

We’re delighted to welcome Andrew Norfolk to MYA Consulting as our new Senior Design Consultant.

Andrew brings many years of industry experience and will play a key role in strengthening the technical coordination and accuracy of our projects. His expertise will help ensure our designs are well coordinated, technically robust and delivered to the high standards our clients expect.

As MYA continues to grow, bringing experienced professionals like Andrew into the business is an important step. It reinforces our commitment to investing in technical excellence and gives us an even stronger platform to support our clients and project teams.

Speaking about joining MYA, Andrew said:

“Having spoken to several colleagues in the industry, the general perception was that MYA would be a great personal fit for me. There is a highly collaborative approach within the company, where everybody has a voice and that voice is heard.

“MYA’s approach to projects is forward-thinking and always seeking betterment. I believe MYA will continue to move the bar higher in our industry, and that is something I truly want to be part of.”

Andrew has spent his working life in hospitality, starting out as a chef before progressing through the industry. That hands-on experience gives him a strong understanding of the detail, discipline and practical realities behind great hospitality projects.

In his new role, Andrew is looking forward to making a positive contribution to an industry he loves, while continuing to develop his own skills and expertise.

“My role is broad, which I hope will allow me to make a difference. I enjoy the detail, and the position will allow me to grow, develop my skills, and become even more precise and exacting in the way that I work.”

Outside work, Andrew spends much of his time on bikes, whether mountain biking with his children or getting out on the road bike after years as a keen racer. Cycling gives him space to reflect, stay grounded and support his mental health.

At the other end of the speed scale, he is also a passionate motorsport fan and especially enjoys watching the British Touring Cars with his son.
